seriously, for all the ranting that goes on here about the nhra and it's
participants.....it pales in comparison to last nite's game ending call; you'd
think the world was ending.....i think it's hilarious.

I am sure Jennings has been coached a zillion times, to knock that ball down in that scenario. He is an idiot.
Maybe the players should stop *****ing about the refs, and go on strike to support their UNION BROTHERS! The players can resolve this issue faster than anyone. Too bad they are too selfish to do so!
The players CBA prevents them from going on strike in a situation like this. Since this issue has been looming on the horizon for quite some time, what the players should have done was refused to ratify their new CBA last year until the NFL and the Referee's Union came to an agreement on a contract extension.
Mike, I would hardly call that a win for the Hawks. Green Bay did play pretty darn bad but the whole game was pretty much a joke including the last play.
actually mike i was refering to the pack as a 'nicer bunch of fellas' ......
i'm a viking's fan; a small, yet significant portion of nfl fans not head over heels
in love with that team from northeast wisconsin.

I now know the players can't strike. But yes, they shouldn't have signed their CBA knowing this was looming. They are selfish crybabies.
And now the NHL idiots are not going to play. F 'em. Move all the Jr. players up, and start over. Like these guys aren't making enough money. My buddies Nephew was playing for the league minimum years ago, and he was making $10k a game, plus expenses on the road. He said he could more than live on the meal allowance, and have money left over.

wow there's money in the nfl - refs get their 'pension' for another 3 or 4 years,
then it turns to a 401k..........holy sh!t, 401k's been the norm for the majority
of us forever already, must be some senior refs just about ready to hang it up,
with a golden parachute no less........ok, i'm jealous, it's something i'll never have
