I didn't see Gordie Rivera on the entry list for Phoenix. Does anyone know if he is running at all this year?

They mentioned in Vegas last year that his son was going to take over the driving duties in 2012. I haven't heard anything since.

Entry lists on NHRA's website have often proved themselves wrong. I wouldn't rely on them in regards to who is, or isn't participating. I'd say wait until tomorrow's sessions are complete. If he, or his son haven't made a pass by end of day tomorrow, then most likely they're not there.

Maybe Gordie still has a beef with the Firebird track after what happened a couple years ago? Did not check back to see if he showed up this past weekend. Hope he makes Vegas-1 & Vegas-2.
