Bobby this station just put a chill up my back. The station voice is an old friend of mine named Sam O'Neil. I worked with Sammy for five years at KKLZ in Las Vegas, he was also the voice of Casino Diaries on A&E and Speed Freaks along with a long list of other radio and TV stations. Sadly we lost Sam at way to young an age a couple of years ago. He left behind beautiful young daughters and a great wife. I miss him every day, it was nice to hear that voice again.

Yep Bobby, KCDX is the only music station on my radio. Can't stand all the car dealer adds on the so called classic rock station.
 
I was suprised to find out a while ago that Dick Dale was friends with John the Zookeeper Mulligan.

Wish I knew more about that.
