G-FORCE RACE CARS PLACES TWO PRO MODS IN FIVE-SECOND CLUB

G-Force Race Cars continues their tradition of building world championship-quality cars with the barrier-shattering performances by Canadian star Raymond Commisso and Buffalo, NY, racer and engine builder Mike Janis. Over the years G-Force has built cars for NHRA and IHRA Pro Mod World Champion Jim Oddy and has been actively building high-powered doorslammers since the late 1980's.

Commisso and Janis both joined the Five-Second Club for Pro Modified cars at the ACDelco Gatornationals in March. Commisso's '67 Camaro ran a 5.98 at 242 mph, while Janis placed a 5.96 at 237 on the scoreboard in his ‘06 Cobalt. G-Force Race Cars is the only car builder to have more than one car among the first five cars in the Five-Second Club.

"My great team of employees at G-Force Race Cars built the cars," says owner Jim Salemi, "but if it weren't for the hard work, dedication and determination of Mike Janis and Raymond Commisso and their respective teams none of this would have happened. My hat's off to those two drivers and their tuners."

When Salemi isn't busy building some of the quickest and fastest Pro Mods on the planet for his customers, he and Mike Stawicki campaign their own legal '67 supercharged Camaro Pro Mod.
