I can't take pictures once the light goes away so I was kind of limited. Del ran 5.977@236 and 5.966@223 during qualifying; Bucky Austin reminded everyone who the boss is when he smoked Del in the finals with a [email protected]. Those kind of numbers in Nostalgia Funny Cars at an elevation of 3075 feet above sea level is a whole new level of jaw-dropping performance! The difference in the performance and consistency of theses cars compared to even two years ago is like night and day; they have come a long way in a short amount of time.

You can't really tell from this picture off of my cheap camera but this was a really nasty looking night time nitro cloud.
