Freer makes drag racing history

Anyone have a list of others to accomplish this. Sitting in the stands I pulled a few names from memory but was curious to know who all has done this pretty cool achievement.

list of names that have doubled....i'll try of top of head....cassil for sure just last summer, rampy, richardson, stinnett, biondo, maybe jeggie? maybe sheldon gecker?
another east coast racer but can't think of name, maybe folk?

I think Greg Stanfield has done it too. But I could be wrong, usually am.

Add to the list above
Aaron Stanfield: Pro Stock and Factory Stock Houston 2020 Only driver other than Pat Austin to win in a Pro and Sportsman class
Tyler Cassil: Super Stock and Stock Topeka 2022
Anthony Bertozzi: Top Dragster and Super Stock Pomona 1 2023 (As Jeff pointed out)
And Lauren Freer last weekend

Dan Fletcher has been to two finals ten times he has nine splits and one double in Seattle 2013

I have never won two glasses at the same race, but I have raced top fuel an top alcohol dragsters at the same race many times and it takes a lot out of you. I was exhausted at the end of those races. Lauren Freer did a fantastic job and the same goes for the others that doubled at a race national or otherwise. My hat's 🤠 off to all of them.

So add Jeggie to the list of drivers who have won in Pro & Sportsman, altho not on the same day. Wow...... I always thought Pat Austin was a great driver. I sometimes think he loved the Alky F/C more than the T/F. Man he was a terror in alky.
Wait - Gene Snow won Comp at Indy for sportsman win and later won in both F/C and T/F. Would that maybe make him the first driver to win Pro & Sportsman?

Cliff,
Hundreds of guys have won Pro and Sportsman classes, all the way back to Bill (Grumpy) Jenkins. Up to and including, Erica Enders, Shawn Langdon, Alexis DeJoria, Steve Torrence, Josh Hart, Cruz Pedregon, Dallas Glenn, Justin Ashley, Tim Wilkerson and on and on.

Jenkins first win was Stock at the 65 WinterNationals, he then won Pro Stock at the 70 WinterNationals

Snow's first win was COMP Indy 1966 his first FC win was the SummerNationals at York, PA in 1970

Don Nicholson won Stock at the 61 WinterNationals and his first Pro Stock win was Englishtown in 71.

It's been going on forever, but only two guys have done it on the same day. Langdon came close in Bristol last year, when he won SC and was Runner Up in TF.
