Force girls

One's being groomed for nitro fc, and the other was involved in a (potentially) catastrophic top-end incident in Seattle which severely damaged the car.

It's my understanding they will both compete in TAD next year. I think John wants Brittney to have one more year of seasoning before he puts her in the flopper. Don't hold me to that; I have no inside track to any information.

I thought the one being groomed for Nitro FC was the one with the incident in Seattle. The other, Brittany is a school teacher in NY.

Courtney is the one who had the tire blow out on her car. She'll be in a FC next year, possibly.

Brittney has aspirations outside of racing, in being a teacher, and has seemed to cut back the amount of racing she's doing.

Hmm...what's a crazier job-being on fire in a fuel funny car or being a middle school teacher. Going to have to think about that.

Megan McKernney is running a ice box white A/FD with Darrien and Meadows of the side.

I don't know if its one of the Force cars or not, but it sure looks like it.

After two sessions, she is qualified #15 with one session to go this afternoon.

It is indeed one of the Force cars, she ran it at Vegas too. She is the daughter of the CEO (or something similar) of AAA of California ... so it is one way Force can keep the sponsors happy and writing checks ... plus she seems to have genuine interest and talent.

Bernie, if Courtney some how ends up in a Fuel Funny Car next year, does that mean John will be turning the seat of his car over to her OR will he be adding another Funny Car to his team?

let's see... right now the A, C, & D teams are racing... think the question is team leader/crew chief... Hopsing? I do think it's Eric's time to shine!

Yeah, I definitely anticipate 4 JFR funny cars at a race sometime next year. Maybe many races. I think Courtney will be racing quicker than some are forecasting.

Who they pick for her crew will indeed be interesting to see. Gonna be a silly season, for sure.

Like I said, Eric Lane would be my pick... if Jimmy and Bob will 'let' him go... JFR does promote from the inside....

My Vote is Hopsing:D

I thought NHRA set a limit on 3 car per team/owner in all classes a few years ago? Was supposed to be a "cost cutting" thing. Am I wrong? Perhaps Ashley or Robert become "owners"?

As Paul said, 4 is the limit.

Remember just last year when John Force Racing had four cars running? John, Ashley, Robert and Mike Neff...

There is a red and white mustang at the Force/Brand Source display with Courtney's name on it with Brand Source on the side of it. Maybe 2012 for her or poss sooner like how Mike Neff ran a few races before doing the full season.
