Friends of mine had a SG car back in the begininng of SG and we went to Canada to run the Div 1 race. First pass broke the driveshaft. Pushed the car back to the open trailer to see how bad it was, while under the car we hear a vioce say " you guys need a hand" Look up and its FJ Smith and he tells us his shops down the road and has the parts to fix it. Next thing I know we are over at his shop and he is rebalancing our drive shaft and replaced the u-joint. That was the first time I ever saw a frame table. Had to be 1981 or 1982. Helps us and sent us on our way. Thinking that he's this big shot in Div 1 that he wouldn't remember us but later that year while on tech line at the Summers he stopped by asking how we been. I will never forget it. Class guy.
