Fastest B/AD Pass in History: Phoenix LODRS

In Q1 at the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, Chandler, AZ, 2017 NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster Champion, Joey Severance, ran the fastest speed ever for a blown alcohol dragster, 281.42 mph in 5.191 seconds.

Was there today. Joey "slowed" to a 5.23 275. Lotsa good 5.40's from F/C. Tomorrow will be interesting. Was disapointed only 6 T/AD, but at least everyone gets a shot at winning Sunday.

Shawn Cowie won T/AD over Joey, who dropped a cylinder. So, 2018 may well be the Shawn Vs Joey show again.

I would say so. I was hanging with my buddies over at Maddern Racing, and Joey was across from us and all of Sunday till past 7pm they were working on the car, and rewiring it. Glad to see they got the issues sorted. 281.42 is so stout!!!
