Maple Grove Raceway announced a new ticket policy Monday that will allow fans to make advance ticket purchases for August's Toyo Tires Nationals without having to worry about their job status.
Fans who buy their tickets for the event by July 15th will be eligible for a program named "Fan Ticket Insurance" that includes a full refund if they can't attend the event.
To be eligible for the refund, customers must notify the Maple Grove Raceway ticket office by July 15.

Dont they have that backwards? If you are out of work, you have time to hang around for the end of the event Mon-Tues-Weds.

I think these kind of programs are super. They really give people a good feeling, and it's really very little risk for the company. Even at 8+% unemployment, over 90% of their customers will never need it. And even fewer of those will ever claim against it. So it's a great PR benefit for very little exposure.
