Great read. It still amazes me at the problems we have with attendance. This article is absolutely wonderful for our sport. Us die hard fans already know we have the greatest motor sport in the world. Hopefully this will open the sport to those that are kind of on the fence about attending a race. We have the most personable drivers, greatest personalities, and baddest race cars on the planet.

He even mentioned stock and super stock-I just wished he'd talked about the diversity of comp (celebrate diversity-race comp) in addition to diversity of ethnicity and gender among our racers (although I'm very proud of that aspect of diversity in drag racing as well as, particularly the long history of diversity in drag racing).

Vegas unemployment is almost 14%. I think that has a lot to do with the attendance there.

Never yet been to a NASCAR race but I'd like to try one day. Bit far to travel just for a weekend though.

Zap, it's like going to any other sporting event and you'll hear the boo-birds when thevisiting team's starting lineup is introduced.

Gas prices are keeping me away from Vegas right now.
If NHRA, Bruton, and LVMS would have put together a fan incentive package together for Vegas like they are doing for the 4-wide race, I would have gone.

Oh, and at Pomona, when Force goes down the return road, there are a lot of boos.
