Air time is supposed to be 1815 EDT Friday.
I'm glad to see they made the decision to do it. We saw history being made in Charlotte.
Who knows what might happen at the Motorplex tomorrow night. It is supposed to be relatively cool and dry.
If the cars can stay hooked up in that tight groove, look out.

No way will it = Z-max outstanding preformance. Both tracks are all concrete, and low alt. but, Ennis is talkin 91 Sat. and 95 Sun. mostly sunny both days. Can't compete with the cool cloudy super conditions this year in Charlotte.

When I posted this last night, the weather channel was calling for 84* tomorrow. Obviously, things have changed since then.

I missed Charlotte but, this qualifying show was EXCELLENT!

Don't know how they can do the play-by-play from a closet but, the show was great. Free form - no commercial lead-ins - the end-of-track interviews - it was like being there.

PS: I woulda' been happy if they only showed the laps with the Bob Frey from the tower but. Page, Mike and the others were a lot of fun. Billy Meyer too.

The banter between Page, Dunn and Meyer was great. They were very relaxed and Page was actually pretty good.
I hope ESPN3 finishes the season doing live Friday night qualifying.

I noticed that they polished the product since last week. They had video ready just about instantly when someone would talk about something specific. They had pieces prepared in advance for this show now too.
It seemed a little bit sanitized or sterilized. It needed some John Kernan too.

Everything was still good, but it seemed like it wasn't as freewheeling and relaxed as last time. Still a good show and we are very fortunate to have it. I'll watch it every time if I am not at the track!

Can't find a listing on ESPN3......?Anybody?

No just friday night sessions. You can follow saturday qualifying on nhra.com audiocast or the excellent live reporting on NHRA interactive or even the live timing feature.
