Same spot where I watched Allen and Koretsky swap paint back in 2005, a crash I wouldn't have thought survivable. Eric smacked the wall pretty hard and escaped from the crash in remarkable condition.
The Texas Motorplex is quite unforgiving to Pro Stock and similar cars with relatively little downforce that get out of the narrow groove. Always has been.
Having made several runs in what was my Rick Jones' Camaro, I can tell you, you can't drive these cars very long out of the groove. It's like trying to survive on black ice. It's not worth it. I almost lost mine in testing at Somoma a few years ago. It happens very fast.
