If I owned a company and my "VP of Marketing" was on the only nationally televised show in the sport I would expect some very good publicity for our product. But she wasn't wearing any brand apparel, and neither she nor any of the ESPN people ever mentioned the product name. She said "we are working to get the product in the stores". What product?
With all the teams out there and only a 30 minute show, for her to get the chance to appear on that broadcast was a special gift to her and her team. Unfortunately, that wonderful opportunity was wasted. No one has any idea who her new sponsor is.
I wish her all the best, and I sure do wish there was more money floating around NHRA so that everyone who had the skills could race. But if there's anything you should learn from the success of people like John Force, it's use every single chance you have to shill for your sponsor.
