+1 Family has no business in drag racing. She should get out there totally on her own. With no family involvement, just like Kurt Johnson.

You know Charles,that's a pretty cheap shot coming from somebody like you. KJ earns his keep,he's in the shop everyday,not off on some vacation like somebody else. He also promotes AC Delco and does a very nice job for them. So if being WJ's son has it's perks,he earns them,they're not given to him.

So Jacks not impressed. We assume from what Jack says, he has a much better way to get funding for a Pro Stock race program. You must share your expertise with all of us. Jack, lets get our feet back on the ground, I don't think you even know who Erica is or what she's about. I don't know her personally but I know what she's about, she has obviously worked hard to get this together rather its large or small it doesn't matter, it's enough to get her back to racing and that's the most important thing to her. You know there's an old saying out there that my father embedded in me that says if you don't have something nice to say about someone, just don't say anything at all. Maybe that's something you should think about.

Unfortunately, you completely misunderstood my comments, Mike. It certainly was not meant as a "cheap shot" against Kurt Johnson. It was sarcasm. Erica Enders gets plenty of "cheap shots" thrown at her because her father is involved with her career. In my opinion, that's a load of crap. Judging by his post, I believe Chris Andrews got my point. Simply, that drag racing and family go hand in hand. Yes, it's a business. There's still plenty of room for Kurt Johnson, Tony Schumacher, Doug & Scott Kalitta, Jeg Coughlin, and Morgan Lucas to have their family members involved with their racing. I don't view that as a negative. If anything it's one of things I like most about drag racing.

If you took my post as an attempt to detract from any of Kurt or Warren's accomplishments, I apologize for that. Those racers I listed above shouldn't get slammed for having "family involvement." I don't think Erica should either. That was my only point.

Their red Stratus is sort of old by today's standards. Although...it was originally Shaun Carlson's car, so there aren't many passes on it!

She might need a different piece to be competitive as the margin for error is very slim. Any word who'll be in charge of the car?

Well they got a new Haas car last year before the western swing and they stopped running after that so i believe they should have a chassis with only 12-15 runs on it. the Silver car.

i understood charles sarcasm i thight it was funny, but sont say it was a cheap shot , when you say hes not on vacation like someone else, was it refering to greg anderson taking a weekend snowmobile trip , a vacation he said was his first in years. i bet thats what your refering to isnt it. people in glass houses........ haters never cease to amaze me

No it wasn't but GA use to take the whole crew to Hawaii after Pomona. So to say it was his first trip in years might be a little deceiving. I'm not going to say who I was referring to,doesn't matter,just getting my point across.

The most important thing is that it looks like Erica will driving a P/S car again real soon. That's the best news I've heard in awhile. I hope we both get to say hello to her and Gregg at ETown this year.

As far as EE coming back to P/S,I don't care one way or the other. She's just one of many looking for the $$$$$$$ to race. "Ironic" I guess with this thread with EE and the one with the Rohn Tobler/Connie slug fest,it will cost 2 $ to join next time.
