I'm thinking about it from the perspective of bracket racing. On paper a car that is not subject to environmental conditions, has less moving parts, and can be tuned more precisely than a conventional vehicle should be able to be more consistent in a bracket scenario.
Mine is definitely not high tech but it is all computer controlled. The frame however is from a Chevy S-10...
