With a heavy heart, I want to share that my dad, Ed Iskenderian, is currently in hospice care. Our family is spending this time together, holding him close and surrounding him with love.

We truly appreciate the kindness, prayers, and support so many of you have already shown. At this time, we ask that you please hold off on calls to my dad and our family, as we’re focusing on being present with him.

Messages, thoughts, and love are deeply felt and appreciated. Thank you for understanding and for keeping our family in your hearts during this time.

Sad news. My Dad was in hospice at home for 2 weeks. My friend just passed five days ago after close to a year in hospice at home.
My other friend was on hospice care, so when I went over they told me he was out in the garage. He was putting connecting rods together for a customer's '31 Oakland! I was shocked. He ended up bedridden for the last 4 days. Everyone is different but 103-104 is remarkable.

Gino, last time I saw Ed was at your Dad's COL and to hear him speak at the event was epic. Everyone in the room knew it was something special even when he'd go way off course! LOL. We all miss Larry and now the Camfather. Only regret is that my dad wasn't up to being there.

I knew the man was a true innovator, but I had never heard of his “5 cycle” cam design before reading it in his obituary.
That’s something I wish I could read more about. I saw that it creates additional overlap but, at what point during the firing cycle does it occur?

it was more of a marketing ploy than anything else. Referred to the degrees of motion the exhaust valve stayed open as the intake valve was opening.
