Why not? I can't speak for everyone but the reason I would like to see Beckman and Tommy back in a car is not just because they are great drivers but they are really nice people away from the track too. But, you are right, there are a lot of other qualified drivers out there.

True to a point. Except for John Force, Tim Wilkerson, Cruz Pedregon, Clay Millican, Doug Kalitta, Mike Salinas, etc.

True. When it comes to reaching a younger audience, I think drag racing needs a bigger social media presence also. Specifically on Twitter. The NHRA does a good job itself imo but I think racers themselves are a bit behind when it comes to it. There are a few exceptions tho. On the other hand I understand that people have lives that don't revolve around social media and it can be a toxic place.

Another way to draw interest is video games. They're working on that front. Hopefully we hear more about that soon.
