I was the same way, I wanted to be a "Naval Aviator" when the movie came out.

Until a recruiter informed me that the only thing I could be on a carrier without 20/20 vision was a yeoman. Crap.

In my household, we called it "Topgunitis"

In spite of that, it really sparked something in me to fly. Never did, but I was ready to enlist after seeing it.

When I was in Vegas for the testing session I was told the Thunderbirds deal had been in the works for almost a year. I believe the only flying for her that weekend will be in the jet, not the Dodge.

No...It means that she "WAS" a Marketing story a year ago...

I really wish that they'd get some financing for that team so that she can get out there and compete with the BOYZ of Pro Stock. She was starting to come together as a driver in pro stock!

pro stock needs a lady in the mix. maybe Angelle, who may be out of a job in 08 will follow Antron's lead and try a different class. It would be so cool to see her take a stab at pro stock and i bet if she did get a ride, she would be more concerned about making a name and establishing herself rather than trying to own the team !!
