Does anyone use Picasa,

... the photo filing and editing tool from Google? Do you like it? Dislike it? Hate it? If you don't use Picasa then what do you use?

I seem to have photos in folders all over this PC and I need to organize them better.

Any thoughts?

I love picasa. I have a family member in Scotland, and a brother that chronicles his children on picasa. I have an account, and when i am sent something from them, I log on and just enjoy the (slide) show. I give it 2 thumbs up!!

Thanks Lori. I downloaded Picasa and I like it already. It put some sense back in the way my pics are stored. I also uploaded a couple videos. I always wondered how that worked. Uploaded an old Fourth of July fireworks finale that's pretty awesome, and am waiting for a night qualifying run at Indy, a few years back, with the fireworks after.

That's great Bob!! I loved it. Glad you gave picasa a chance, I think it is amazing. Works great for simple minds like me!!

Thanks again Lori. Now, you and all of our mater friends can check out the 7 videos I've uploaded to youtube. Several are drag racing related, with fireworks from Indy, and a special spy vid of Al Bergler allowing a friend to cackle his restored yellow Comp coupe. On Nitro! There's 1 of my grandson Zach at his first (and only, so far) Indy US Nats.

Hope you like them. There WILL be more as time passes.

OH! One of my faves on youtube has nothing to do with Drag racing. It's a tremendous vid I think, of a finale of fireworks here in Michigan, from a few years back. I never saw a finale so powerful as this. Enjoy.

My issue is the lack of being able to link. Now, I haven't checked recently, but you are not able to link to a photo..period. Like showing a photo here, for instance. They provide no tags to linky. That's my only beef.

Other than that..throwing a link to family members through email, which they will do with a mouse click..is awesome.

I see. Well, I could easily upload any that I wanted to repost here, into my Webshots albums, then link them to here. Just a few more clicks.
