I wish I was a little more savvy at this computer thing. I could flood this thread with old pics...…..

Is it as simple as scanning the photos into the computer, then bringing them in with the "attach files" button at the bottom of the posting window?

Sean D

if you can get them into you downloads folder or your photo album you can use the attach files to upload them.

2005 Ennis, TX. It was still pretty dark that morning. I think I have a video of a KB warmup from another race. Eddie Hill 1998 St. Louis 2000 US Nationals

a couple of semi haulers from the past that i just can not find pics of anywhere. have looked online with no luck. they were a couple of beauties.
1) rance mcdaniel top fuel dragster from early 90's. airbrushed image of TF on sides. don't think it had any lettering on it. maybe rance's name on back door. i believe rance's business
was trailers? he built it himself? was the best of the best at the time?.....the hartleys bought it from rance ended their TF career with this hauler. i remember joe h. telling me KB wanted to buy it.
2) don't know if 1996 or 1997 or both. mopar TF'r of darrell gwynn racing; the years just after la victoria. if i recall, some very talented artist produced a perspective image the mopar TF'r on each side.
it was one of a kind.

Somewhere in my collection, I've got a picture of a TF team called, I believe, The California Mafia. They used a converted Greyhound interstate bus. The passenger side opened up to form a natural awning. They told me that because it was registered as an RV, they were saving a bundle of money on licensing costs for their rig. I'll do my best to find it.

I saw a video of the 1955 Nationals & one team actually had a tractor trailer for their car. They might have been the first to do that. I know Billy Meyer gets credit for that a lot, but he wasn't the first.

That I would like to see. Hope you find it.

ha! that reminds me of a bus that used to show up at BIR every year when camping was allowed up by pits, and the overflow parking lot was a party that usually started on tuesday until the gates
would open on thursday. it was a big ole' greyhound and the destination plaque on front said NIMRODS. these guys would always park by the cold showers (think pull rope, outdoor, everyone can see you) they would always be there......and then there was the top alcohol camp, they were down past the finish line and would have TAC decals (i still have one on my old winston ticket holder), and then there were barrel fights, and then we dove into the pool, which was a blue tarp on the ground with pink flamingos around it (we felt that the next morning).....wait, it already was morning. on saturday and sunday, the day traffic would file by all of us in campground at end of day. it would take at least an hour to get all the day trippers out. little kids would run out on road and poor water under tires of cars, and cars would do burnouts. the security would show up, the little kids would scatter and run about 100 yards down the road and do it again. everyone was hootin' and hollerin'. the security would go down there, and the kids would scatter and come back up by us where they started and more burnouts. repeat. repeat. repeat. it was the greatest!! ........oh boy. i better do something productive.....sorry for the hijacking
