Dodge getting back in the game, for real

My wife had a 2006 Charger Daytona hemi / auto. Fantastic car. Zero problems. I drove it up to Bonneville and back, great road car. Put over 100,000 on it. Only sold it because she wanted a CTS-V. I miss that car.

If it was the coupe you are forgiven!:p

My dream cars are a Challenger Hellcat and a 2nd gen CTS-V coupe (Can't stand that CUE crap they have in their newer cars). The hellcat may be heavy, but it still runs 10's with the only mod being drag radials. Back in the 70's that took a gutted and purpose build drag car to achieve, now you can buy a car that does it while equipped with A/C and warranty.

Haters gonna hate. If it was not for Chryslers HEMI design, who knows where nitro would be today. Remember Chrysler built HEMI"S for the warplanes before they put them in cars. Also if I remember correctly the HEMI was so dominate that Nascar and Nhra basically outlawed them. Still today in certain sanctioning bodies if you have a 426 HEMI based motor you get to run in the next faster class,

The silhouette of a Challenger is very similar to a Camaro, IMO. With as much massaging as there is to PS bodies, I'm thinking they could get a Challenger to work. Same with FC. Speaking of FC, how badass would the new Stingray be as a Funny Car? They make a wild PM car, would love to see them in FC.

"The words Dodge and Performance go together like two same pole magnets. lol. Unless your idea of performance is puffing blue smoke and engine knocks after 5,000 miles, electrical gremlins or rusting the body off the vehicle after 2-3 years"

Sorry I have 2 one has 188K the other 140K and neither fits your description

Ah yes, the age old battle of the brands. Not Dodge related, but some people say Ford: First On Race Day and others say: Found On Road Dead
