One of the Phoenix area Chevy "Performance" dealers is heavily advertising a list to purchase one of these very nice cars. I was told today that this gets you in line to purchase a Camaro for up to $20K over list price (which has apparently not been determined). And . . . spots on the list are up for sale!
People who participate in this should get a membership in Jay Leno's
"More money that sense" club! - :D

You shilled for your dealership with post number 666. Now you'll have to take a Chevy Citation in on trade. :D

Price gouging sucks. If people were smart, once they found out that the dealers were putting a gouge on the price they should boycott and teach those greedy dealers a lesson by refusing to buy the vehicle in the first place. And please don't say "well the dealers won't make money," even if they sell at list they'll still make a profit!

But yet, people will pay the gouge just to say they have an '09 Camaro. This is one of those things that I consider to be a "tax for the stupid."

generally speaking.....the people paying the gouged prices don't have to worry about the extra $$

Ted, is it a 80 or 81(lol) Those 80's are rare:D

Sam, would you sell your house for what you paid for it?

I can get one here now for $16.99, but of course it's in 1/24th scale and you have to build it yourself!
