National dragster has a bit from Cruz in it... Says they got the came car, same crew, same parts, same tune up- Going straight to Pomona.
Only thing they changed was the paint job. It also says TP is going from "Q Power" back to Quaker State

There are a few cars that'll head to the Strip at Las Vegas for the Last Chance sessions after the Jan 30 - 31 Pro Stock Showdown. Testing on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, then load up and head for Wednesday Parking/Tech in Pomona.

Why spend thousands of dollars a pass to "test" when you have a proven tune-up from two months ago?

The good ol' days of burning up parts, fuel and cash during testing are probably gone for awhile. These teams are going to have to run their businesses lean-and-mean like those of us in the private sector have been doing for about a year now if they want to survive this economic downturn

And I don't think obama has plans to offer us small business folks bail-out money if we run our businesses into the ground unless we turn ourselves into a bank

IMO--the Pedregon Bros are the smartest funny car owners/drivers for the last two seasons as out of the top ten (remember you have to make the top 10 to play ball) they beat out 9 other teams that followed the same rules....

You can almost get out of testing due to the countdown now, and as JC says above. Test a few little things at the first couple of races.

Very True, knowing when the Rounds count and actually winning are 2 different things!
