Forth offer is 49K AND a challenge. She was put in a harness and lifted in the air horizontally. She has a chance to catch 16K WAY up in the air. BOOM...she is 16K richer! BTW.... no deal on the 49K offer.

Yup..... and revved the motor a few times when she stopped. The case gals didn't know what to think about that!

Anybody else notice that the car looked to have no decals at all? With the exception of the name Quigley Girls, I didn't see any others. Would the Deal or no Deal people make them take the decals off?

Yes, we did notice that. And yes, if they had any, I'm quite sure DoND would/did make them take them off. I'm sure they didn't want to give free national TV advertising to a bunch of companies. I'll bet their other advertisers would've pitched a fit...

But then again, we don't run any decals on our car, maybe she doesn't either??

I'm not arguing, just curious, but when cars (and bikes) have been on Good Morning America and other shows, they were lettered. Can you imagine telling KB that "We would love to have your car on the show, but you have to take the Budweiser signage off first"?

Rights and Clearances would require the decals to come off unless the network and the sponsor represented on the decal could come to a legally binding agreement. That's why you see t-shirts blurred out on written television shows (GMA is a news broadcast technicallly). Wardrobe knows exactly what will be worn to prevent a "whoops"...

In the case of KB, the network reps would contact AB's media lawyers and an agreement (sometimes involving cash) would be hashed out. On her car, with all the small decals that needed to be blurred, the result would be a giant fuzzy stick, defeating the reason the car was there in the first place.

Alan , saw Eddie on saturday and he said the whole show is just unreal. They put wraps on anything that they felt could be a possible conflict of any type. It took almost 14 hours to film that show with all the stuff they put them throught. How about bring 6 changes of cloths to see which ones we like. After they put Mandy up in the harness they had to take a break because she was pretty rattled.

Eddie's one of my "adopted grandkids" ( there's about fifteen ex-junior dragster kids who kick a** against adults in drag racing now that fit that description), but they should have left his suit coat on or sent him to the gym before taping! Sorry Tracy and Dawn - love you all!
