Recognized as one of the most prolific drivers in NHRA drag racing, and the
6th winningest driver in NHRA history, David Rampy will return to full time racing in 2011 with the support of The Racers Edge pain and performance chips, a new subsidiary of MicroHoldings US a publicly traded company on the OTC under the symbol: MCHU.
After running a reduced schedule in 2010 with support from Rodger Brogdon and The Racers Edge, Rampy will now benefit from the off season sale of the company and the new ownership of The Racers Edge to Microholdings US, Inc. OTC: MCHU
With 3 NHRA World Championships and 74 National event wins to his credit, Rampy and crew chief Barry Davis will now have the backing needed to pursue the Lucas Oil Championships in Comp Eliminator as well as with his new Super Stock Camaro.
“The season had already started last year before we were able to team up with Rodger and The Racers Edge,” commented Rampy, “and we had pretty much already set our schedule for the year. Now with everything set in place and the larger marketing push that is coming with Microholdings US, Inc. (MCHU) we’re excited to once again be a part of The Racers Edge.”
Rampy will once again campaign his Racers Edge ’32 Bantam Altered with
additional backing from Elite Motorsports. The new SS/GT 1989 Camaro will be wrapped in full Racers Edge colors from a Scott Brown Graphics design. Both vehicles will be powered by engines from Patterson Racing, who have supplied the power for 62 of Rampy’s 74 national event victories.
Besides Patterson Racing, Rampy is also looking forward to starting the season at the Winternationals in Pomona in just a few weeks with longtime supporters VP fuel, Hoosier tires, Jegs, K&N and Sandy Kastel
THE RACERS EDGE Products were created out of a need for a safe alternative to “over the counter” or prescribed medications to provide energy, stamina, and pain relief for athletes. The Pain Relief / Pain Management Chips, circular in appearance, are designed to reduce aches and pains of those suffering from minor everyday aches to chronic discomforts from injury. The Energy / Performance Chips are roughly half the size of a standard postage stamp
