R.I.P. Dave Stevens

I just read on another board, and had heard bits and pieces over the weekend, that Top Fuel team owner Dave Stevens passed away.

Does anyone know what happened?

I don't know what happened but it saddens me to hear that he passed away. My condolences go out to Rex and the rest of the Stevens family.

Dave had a heart attack at age 60

My prayers go out to Rex and the whole Stevens family, friends, and team mates.

Tim Gibson drove some for him. Ran IHRA and some NHRA events. George Thorogood was on the car from time to time. It was a former NY Yankees car if i remember correctly.

I am heartbroken to hear this. I just spoke to him Thursday while I was in Vegas. This is shocking news, my thoughts and prayers to his whole family. If I can do anything, please let me know.
