Dave Grubnic, driver of the 330-mph, pink and black StriVectin-SD Top Fuel dragster, qualified for eliminations in the No. 8 spot, 4.541 sec., 327.51 mph. He faces off against the No. 9 (4.543 sec., 316.67 mph) qualifier Morgan Lucas in round one. Like his teammate Doug, Grubnic will also get to choose his lane.
Grubnic enters final eliminations in 5th place (999) in POWERade points, 307 points off of his teammate’s lead.
