I read on another site that FC driver Dave Condit has passed. From what I understand, the Condits, Beavers, and Force's are cousins. Sorry to hear about this, RIP Dave.

Sorry to hear about Dave passing.

National Dragster Editor Phil Burgess also heard from John Force this past Monday, that Rich Beaver passed away on the previous Sunday.

Also, Gene and Rich Beaver were uncles to the Condits and Forces.

Dave Condit’s passing brings an era of Southern California Funny Car racing almost to a close. Almost, but not quite, as Mr. Force remains in action.

Back in the early days the Beaver and Condit Bros. and the Force Bros. were inseparable. They fed off each other, loaning parts and even race cars back and forth. They were fun to watch and fun to be around.

Dave Condit was a gentleman, a quality guy. I hate it that he’s gone.
