Anybody catch the Danica Patrick GoDaddy.com ad on the SuperBowl broadcast last night? It was tame but asked folks to go to their website to see the ad FOX rejected- I'm no prude and I have a naughty sense of humor but, I think Danica has "jumped the shark". Why she'd want to be associated with that Petri Dish life-style of Paris Hilton, I'll never understand.
PS: I posted a reference to this ad last night which disappeared. Feel free to remove this one if it's out-of-line

See the thread in the lounge... personally, I thought the 'rejected' add at GoDaddy was funny as "BLEEP"... and it's a shot at hotel girl... boy did that come out wrong....

Did you go to the website to see the ad? Quite tame. She never unzipped beyond what she did on TV. It was just a kick at Paris and Britney (who were played by imitators, BTW). It was in pretty poor taste (play on the word "beaver"), but it wasn't that bad, and certainly not revealing. The goal of the "Fox rejected it" was just to get people to their web site (they are an internet company...). And it got 1.5m people to their website last night.
Look, I agree Danica needs to win on the track pretty quick here or the "jump the shark" will be permanent. She's gonna be an Anna Kornikova any second now. But if it gets NHRA noticed on the Super Bowl, would something that tame be OK? I dunno...

I'm not going to speak for any of the lady racers out there, but I bet Danica got a Huge some of ca$h for that deal. And there was NO nudity, I don't know why Fox rejected it to be honest. Money can persuade people to do things they wouldn't even consider doing otherwise. So to say that Mel or Ashley wouldn't do that???? Hmmmmmmmmm

If Erica had the quality of equipment Danica's had, she'd already visited the winner's circle. Too bad the Slammers deal fizzled and she couldn't (wouldn't) wait it out with VC - She 'coulda been a contender!
PS: I liked Danica but she's played the girly/girl thing too much. She's a snappy looking gal but she should be concentrating on her racing skills a little more than her photo shoots.
