Pre-Race Report
Cruz Pedregon and team are ready to get the Snap-on® "Makers and Fixers" Dodge® SRT® Hellcat® back to the Route 66 Raceway to see all the great fans. Cruz calls his car “wild child” and he’s ready to see what it can do.
"We’ve been the 1 or 2 qualifier a couple of times already this season, and the car is loving the combination we’ve worked as a team to develop,” says Cruz. “As good as the tuning on the car has been, it wants to run a little too fast, so we’re working on pulling it back and keeping it in the groove this weekend. We really like the racing surface and facility in Chicago, so we have our eye on winning it for the first time as a team.”
