Pre-Race Report
Before heading to Topeka, Cruz Pedregon and team regrouped after the NHRA Western Swing with time in the shop and a trip to Norwalk for the Snap-on® Dodge® SRT® Hellcat® to be a part of the Night Under Fire match race.
“Night Under Fire is a great opportunity for us to get a handle on what’s going on with the Funny Car after our time out west. We use the information we gain from the runs at Summit Motorsports Park, much like we do in testing, to prepare for Topeka and down the road to Brainerd,” says Cruz. “I’d love to score a fifth win in Topeka and, as a team, we have our eyes set on moving further up in the top 10 rankings.”
The Snap-on Dodge will once again be in its “Makers and Fixers” paint scheme through September.
