Courtney to run Pomona in FC

Read it again. She mentions the car's debut (in the pit area) at the Auto Club Finals last November. I'm pretty sure she won't be racing a nitro FC until late in 2011 (at the earliest) and maybe not till 2012.

Looks like you're correct Kevin.

It was posted as a photo in the 2010 race season album, but I like others took it to mean it was for the Winternationals. 66 "Likes" and 27 comments today from others that took it the wrong way so far.

Sorry for jumping the gun everyone.

Her Twitter Reads that she will be testing in 2011 and then running in 2012. Hmmm, I could be wrong BUT: AAA --- 2012 Rookie of the Year Hmmmmm......:rolleyes:

i hope jfr sponsors are not so tied to john that he will not be able to
quite driving when he chooses.
IMO he should have retired with coil and let the spotlight on his youth.
i think he can be more of an asset to his team and the nhra not driving.

I gotta disagree. He's no spring chicken, but he's still got it. And what he did this season was just fantastic. I'm glad he's staying out there a bit longer.

Uh no. NHRA without John Force driving is like General Ching's chicken without the General Ching's sauce. :D

I agree 100%. As much as I see love to see John race, and win, he would be an even greater ambassador if he hung up the gloves.

The newer comments make sense. I asked Ashley at Pomona if Courtney was going to run FC in 2011 and she indicated no way, she's not ready yet. I was surprised at the original post since Ashley was so clear in her response. (Although drivers do not always give the straight scoop to fans as we all know.)

John is not ready to retire-my guess is he will have a tough time being an "ambassador" and not a driver-he lives for the action. Plus, with the year he had in 2010, why should he retire-reaction times and everything else, he's still as good or better a driver than anyone else out there.
