Courtney Force (1 Viewer)

When Brittany retires John will be the only Force left racing.
Sponsored by Depends and AARP no doubt... ~:)~
I can hear it now, "The Depends/AARP hot rod really took a $hit on me" :p

No offense meant, just making a funny... slow day at work...

Bobby Rahal and John Force are your grandparents. Graham Rahal and Courtney Force are your parents. They are birthing the super racing kid. Future F1 World Champion.

All kidding aside, congrats to Graham and Courtney!!!

Chris, you may not be too far off on that. When the kid(s) grow up, is it gonna be an Indy Car or a Funny Car? Ya never know, F1 may be there too.

It looks as though Force's racestation in Yorba Linda has closed. Does anyone know if the entire shop is closed? Have they moved the entire operation to Brownsburg?

It will only be open to the public during both Pomona events. It won’t open year round like it once did. As stated by someone else it will be online sales only the rest of the time.

This could go several ways in my opinion:

1. JFR maybe lacking funds for 3 Funny Cars and a Dragster. So they down size to 2 Funny Cars (John and Robert) and 1 Dragster. The dragster will get the AAP money.
2. JFR maybe lacking funds for 3 Funny Cars and a Dragster. Since AJ, Husen and crew are confirmed to have gone to the Salinas Top Fuel operation, JFR moves Brittany to the AAP Funny Car. We all know that Brittany has her own FC and is licensed. This keeps JFR as a 3 car FC team. The kicker to this theory is that David Grubnic (TF Crew Chief) is rumored to now be working at JFR.
3. JFR has the funds for a 4 car operation and Austin Prock gets the nod and takes over the Courtney Force Funny Car, and Britt continues in TF with Grubnic making the tuning calls.

Any thoughts?

B Force has already made it clear that she wants to stay in TF and John confirmed it, so I doubt there will be a B Force FC.
The Agent1320 article in the Austin Prock thread indicates a likelihood that A Prock will not be driving for JFR after all.
If Prock were driving with JFR, he'd probably already be in the Entry List for Pomona and he is not.
Looks like JFR will run 2 FCs and 1 TF in 2019. We shall see very soon.

Sure seems that way. Is this the beginning of the end of JFR? John is at retirement age, two daughters down, one to go. Sponsorship is running thin and back up driver moved on. Things have definitely looked better at JFR.

"Money Rules" --- sponsors are tightening up, which in turn tightens up racing, because it costs a LOT of money to race !!! The question now is, how much longer will Brittany hang in there ??? With Courtney stating, that it was her choice to quit driving might have been a combination of both "lack of sponsorship for JFR Racing", AND the "speculation of her either already being pregnant, or wanting to get pregnant". It just might be, that with the speculation of a Graham/Courtney nitro team on 2020 would give her the year sabbatical she needs to accomplish motherhood. I don't know when Grahams Indy Car contract ends, but it just doesn't make any sense for the two of them to be racing in two different directions --- not much of a marriage. With BOTH of them going in the same direction would definetly be best for the marriage. This will definetly be "speculation fodder" for the "2020 Silly Season".

Heard that since Tony Shoe hasn't found a sponsor he will take over driving duties from Courtney...hey when you need opposition research you send in the big guns

BRITTANY FORCE TO DRIVE ADVANCE AUTO PARTS TOP FUEL DRAGSTER

YORBA LINDA, Calif. (Jan. 25, 2019) — John Force Racing today announced that Brittany Force, the 2017 Top Fuel World Champion, will be in the driver’s seat of the Advance Auto Parts Top Fuel dragster for the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season, which kicks-off with the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, February 8-10 at the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona in Pomona, Calif.

With her sister Courtney Force having just announced that she is stepping away from driving duties, Advance Auto Parts continues its partnership with John Force Racing by becoming the primary sponsor of Brittany Force’s Top Fuel dragster.

“I’m really excited to start this season teaming up with Advance Auto Parts,” said Brittany Force. “They’ve been such a great partner to John Force Racing the past two years. They exceeded expectations when working with Courtney, building her as their brand ambassador, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together. I’m looking forward to getting them their first win in a dragster and ultimately going after a championship. Off track, I look forward to creating new relationships and being involved with everything this great company has to offer.”

Brittany Force finished the 2018 season fifth in the NHRA Mello Yello points standings after a roller coaster season that started with a grisly wreck. Four races later she debuted a brand-new dragster at the SpringNationals in Houston and picked up the race win. In 2017, she became just the second female and first in 35 years to win the Top Fuel world championship.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with John Force Racing and have Brittany Force drive the Advance Auto Parts and Carquest Top Fuel Dragster in 2019,” said Yogi Jashnani, Chief Marketing Officer for Advance, which owns the Carquest brand. “Brittany represented us in eight races last season and was instrumental in launching our new advertising campaign, ‘Think Ahead. Think Advance.’ We look forward to our continued involvement in NHRA and welcoming fans to shop at www.AdvanceAutoParts.com or check out one of our more than 6,000 Advance Auto Parts and Carquest store locations throughout North America.”

The racing operation moved to Brownsburg several years ago. The Yorba Linda location is now being used for video production and John's museum is still there.

B Force has already made it clear that she wants to stay in TF and John confirmed it, so I doubt there will be a B Force FC.

Agent 1320 is a joke, just posting stuff like that to get people to their web site.

This could open the door for a Ashley Force return at some point if the sponsorship dollars are there. Plus her and Danny’s kids are running juniors now.
