He was one happy Peanut in his post-race interview. Explained the nickname (his middle initial is "P") and attributed his victory to racing the track, not the car in the other lane.
He had problems getting the new car down the track during qualifying, but they got it figured out by Sunday. He also said he likes the 1/8-mile format. He doesn't want to see all races run at that distance, but said it definitely helps "the little guys" because it's easier on parts, fuel and tires.
