For what it’s worth, Erica is in the exact same car Stanfield won in. Elite has definitely closed the gap. It might not be an easy last 6 races for Anderson and Glenn.A well deserved win & a long time coming for E.E.. They have been improving for the last few races and Greg Stanfield had their only win so far this season till today. With a little luck & more improvement who knows?
Round 1, possibly; Stanfield's car suddenly lost 7mph in the traps. Round 2, dunno about that. They say little Stanfield's car broke something in the engine on the starting line.Team orders helped that win in round 1 & 2.

I’ve never really considered Erica coming across as 'better-n'you'. I’m not a fan of hers, but honestly, I couldn’t really give a legit reason as to why, other than the fact that she is the main foe of my favorite racer GA. Over the years Erica and Greg, both have pretty much carried themselves to be Humble, gracious, very professional, very rarely has either one bemoan the competition or made excuses.Most of us have at one time or another have bemoaned her better-n'you demeanor but I think this 1-year dry spell humbled her a bit. She seemed quite grateful and appreciative today and I was glad to see her get win 50. Whatever issue Elite had with the fuel change appears to be resolved.
Erica had a chip on her shoulder for a long time and she still retains plenty of sass, some uncalled for in my opinion like when she tore into Amanda Busick. But when it comes to driving a race car she owes nothing to anybody; a feared competitor that can send you home on any given Sunday - and has. I had a big smile on my face after her win Monday. Greg Anderson hard guy not to like? I find him boring AF. Though I do appreciate his professionalism, he does maintain that, so if "not to like" means they "maintain composure and respect for other drivers" then I guess I can agree. They all are boring. I can’t tell you how many times over the weekend I heard, ad nauseam, ‘it’s not me, It’s a team effort’ and those guys over there (the loser) are a great team. your right , Doug Kalitta might be the nicest laid back driver ever to put on a fire suit. I often wonder how in the world can this man related to Connie Kalitta?. . . You nailed Doug Kalitta, also a likeable guy - who could put people to sleep during a napalm attack.
We all have our opinions, and our likes/dislikes. We need to remember, not all race car drivers were meant to be great entertainers to boot. And, they're usually interviewed right after making a run, which isn't always easy. It's funny though, when drivers are entertaining by sharing their emotions in the heat of the moment, they're often disliked for being a whiner, or cocky, or having a chip on their shoulder, or whatever.
