Congrats Shawn Langdon

As a long time supporter of Larry Dixon, it's nice to see Shawn put the silver car back to the championship. Wish it was Larry, but great job Shawn. You are the best and I think this is only the first of many championships. :)

Shawn and crew did a great job this year. Many congratulations to them. They have the talent and the budget we all envy and they used it to do the job.

Is it me ... or am I missing something?

  • Brown came into Pomona down 102
  • After qualifying at Pomona, Brown is down 104
How is it mathematically over (as stated on NHRA.com) if there are still 120 points out there (Win + ET Record)? I know realistically it is over and the weather probably won't support an E.T. record, but are they saying Langdon won't lose in Rd. 1 and Brown run the table?

Long shot at best, but mathematically possible unless I am mistaken.

Only 100 points out there. 4 rounds at 20 points a piece and 20 for a record equals 100.

Glad to see Dark side didnt get any c-ships. Karma I guess for hiring Spencer back!!

Loving how AJ just tore their throats out at the end of the season.... That is one bad as$ team- major congrats!

I worked on Alans car from 98 through I think it was 2003. The last couple years with the E-Moola/No-Moola FC.

It was a blast working with him on the dragster. Smart and open-minded, thats a combination that is hard to beat. I loved it when Gary would back up after a burnout and Alan would hold up the car before moving forward. He would open the side panel and with both hands start to open up the clutch flows. After we would win the race and most likely set low ET for the race on the final round run, he couldn't wait to get back to the pits to see where the flows ended up and how the data looked on the computer.
