With today's number one qualifying shot of 6.63 seconds in Q-1 in Pomona, Mike Edwards has earned enough points according to Bob Frey on the audio broadcast..to claim his FIRST NHRA PRO STOCK World Championship.

My heart felt congrats go out to this group. Mike, Big Al, Nick, Terry and the entire bunch.... YOU GUYS DESERVE ALL THE CREDIT IN THE WORLD!!!
