Not that it mattered but a .44 rt in the final, looks like he’s figured something out. Glad to see him get the win!
Maybe I should give him a call. He might want someone to stay in his lake house to keep an eye on it while he is in California. I can stay in a hotel while he is there for the race.http://competitionplus.com/drag-racing/news/top-fuel-winner-salinas-likes-bristol-so-much-he’s-buying-a-home-there
A little more is revealed in this article.
Capco has lost the last two finals! But the fact he continues to make the finals he will wrap up his 4 title!good for mike, better than have capco win again.
How soon can you move?Maybe I should give him a call. He might want someone to stay in his lake house to keep an eye on it while he is in California. I can stay in a hotel while he is there for the race.
what happened to get him in a fuel car was there was no other car available for him to run (PS or PM) so he decided to try TF. You can only run one pro class per event (PS, PSM, TF, FC) but you can run any other class along with one pro class. Kenny Koretsky was the last driver I know off to run 2 pro classes in an event (TF and PS) but the rule changed sometime after he did thatcan't find the article, or comments relating to it, but if memory is correct, wasn't alex laughlin recently told he couldn't run PM and TF at the same race?
please explain if i'm missing something here, or misinterpreted something. salinas ran in both categories this last weekend.......explanation?
or did alex want to run in PS and TF and denied, but PM and TF are different cuz PM is not camping world class?
YesterdayHow soon can you move?
It got added as an actual NHRA class to nationals as opposed to being a pay-to-play third party series that used nationals to hold their events. I believe it's currently right with the Top Alcohol classes in the NHRA hierarchy, but I have no experience with any of those classes to definitely say what the organization and class participants think about that.I swear I remember years ago the NHRA officially declaring pro mod a pro class. Wonder what happened to that?
what a great picture. nothing in the world will ever make sense why hop had to leave us.Mike posted this photo yesterday (Tuesday) on his personal Facebook page:
