Our old friend BB/SJ sent me this link to a radio spot he recorded today for Doug Herbert. It's an old-school spot that he credits the late, great Steve Evens for the inspiration, check it out, it's pretty cool.

Jackee...great commercial! Those were awesome days in the Radio business. There is still a lot of that passion in our industry, but sadly, the deregulation of Radio has led to a complete overhaul from local/direct ownership and management, to publicly traded corporate Radio. We're doing our best here in Mid-Missouri to offer more local content and total (local) ownership and management....and more killer commercials like the Herbert ad.
