Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, was this near Terminal Island? Also was Tony Scarlotta running? On a side note; when they show those Dakes under the boat it looks like they're Feet sticking through like Fred Flintstone!

Buzzz is either in the shop or at band practice so I'll answer Joey. Yes, Tony drove the blue & white K-69 for Rankin as Davey Bryant was driving the unlimited this weekend. Tony was also driving the SS-68. He was tough all weekend with no shortage of talent running against him. It was a great event. Reminded me of drag racing back when every race meant something and driving meant more than money.

Bobby, did I get enough zzzzzzz's in Buzzzzz's name? I remember asking Tony about driving circleboats, he said those guys were kinds laughing at a Drag racer trying to compete with them till he started winning!

Just ran across this post and it caught my eye because the "Hampton Cup Regatta" is here this weekend in Hampton, Va. Alot of the big name racers from across the country will be here to tame Hamptons record setting coarse.

Good times to be had at these races... I'll be heading out there all three days this weekend !
