I normally go to Friday or Saturday races but will be at Charlotte on Sunday this year. I know there are church services Sunday mornings at the tracks but does anyone know if they are open to the public and what time they would be?

Thanks
Annie

Yes they are open to anyone. They will be held in the DSR hospitality. They usually have two services at 7:15 and 8:15 or somewhere in that area. There will be flyers posted throughout the pits over the weekend so you can verify the times.

They do them an hour later at Charlotte because race day start is at Noon, not 11:00.

Its amazing the different sizes of crowds you see in different parts of the Country! Places like Gainesville, Atlanta, Dallas and Houston you see overflow crowds at those RFC services!

Everyone is welcomed to come and join in. 9:00 AM in our hospitality area.

Hey Annie!

Did you make it to the RFC service? I looked over at the DSR hospitality, and it looked really packed!

I always try to get there about 30 minutes before it starts. Just don't ask for autographs, it's kinda tacky.

Yep, we went over there. We got there just about as they were starting and there were a few seats left. I turned around about a third of the way through the service and there were a bunch of people standing outside as well.

It was awesome that I could be half way across the country from my church and at the racetrack and still be able to go to church.

Annie, glad you made the service. I felt the same way when attending the race in Gainesville. One excuse I made for not going on Sunday was that I would miss church service, but then one year it dawned on me that I could go to the track and attend the service with lots of racers and fans. That was so neat and Thank You to DSR for all the years they have provided their Hospitality area for RFC services.
