Barbara and I have been talking about a new big screen so we did it. 60 inch plasma flat screen and up graded our direct tv to HD and the DVR. I knew HD was pretty nice but WOW! Barbara wasnt real excited about the HD till she watch it and is just blown away buy it. Its also nice that direct broadcasts the HD channels in surround sound. Have had that in a while. It isnt even racing season and the DVR is 40% full.

Congrats Mike. Yup, I'm digging on mine too. Our cable provider just got the ESPN2 HD channel, so on race days it's surround sound and crank up the subwoofer too. Enjoy!

You'll love it. I got to see only Pomona and have to wait, just like you. Now if they can just fix the sound a bit.
