On the front page of the Chicago Tribune, Friday edition, is a banner for the world's fastest sport, see back page of Sports section.
The entire back page is a large picture of Tony Schumacher's car. Snipits on the car, fuel and speed are included. Even names the car's crew!
For the Tribune, it's big. Daytona 500 didn't even get this!

NOTHING is said about NHRA. A thought comes that a certain Don might have even paid for it. If so GREAT.

That is cool. Typically, I don't read the paper that much, but will check that out.
Also saw Ashley Force being interviewed on NBC local news too. I have heard ads on the country station US 99 a lot for the last 2 weeks.

After having time to read the paper, there is also ANOTHER article about females in the sport, a lead on front page of sports, with article on page 5.
It mentions Ashley, Melony and Hillary.
For the tribune this is unprecedented.

I liked Angelle's comment. It wasn't a matter of whether women could drag race, just whether they wanted to.

Right on .

If I'm not mistaken, the same NHRA Media Relations staffer did the advance work in St. Louis also and got the same stellar results.

Hats off to Lachelle Seymour for showing the rest of the troops how it's done.
