It sounds as if it was emailed to Joe's Hotmail account. As Joes computer is logged in to Hotmail he can access the link.

So Joe, if you provide us all with your Hotmail username and password we can login and see the photo. :)

And that was your Hotmail usename and password, not your Hotmale website username and password. :D

Alternatively you can just upload it to your SmugMug account.

That was funny as hell!!!!!!! I always said Joe was hot!!!!!!!;)

That was a huge explosion. I got to know Tripp when I lived in Phoenix, absolutely one of the coolest guys you could know. Still blows my mind that he survived all those explosions & fires and he ends up getting taken out while riding his Harley by someone not paying attention.

That was a hell of a lot more then a blower explosion.

I was there, and the rain of parts coming down on/over the stands was insane. Betty Hoover found a piece of Blower Rotor that cleared the stands and landed in front of their pit. Crazy!

I was there as well! I was sitting in Sec. 7 row 30 something and his Barrel Valve landed 3 rows in front of me!!! That was a Motor Explosion, not a Blower explosion!

That explosion pretty much killed 100% nitro in NHRA. There were some other nasty boomers that year but nothing remotely as nasty as Herbert's kaboom. 90% was the rule the next year.

I'm trying to remember the year when they went to the 90% rule. Was it 1999???

What killed 96-97% was that this happened on County Property! And NHRA had to put in writing changes that would insure(?) these things wouldn't happen again, or risk losing the L.A. County Fairgrounds as a track! Hence the 90% rule...
