Was going to head out to the race, but I am CONVINCED that IKE or his sister will ruin the weekends fun... So, I'm saving my ticket for Vegas 2.... I'm sure the weather won't be an issue there!

I am really looking forward to being there; it's been so long, but with my move, getting married, my husband's deployment, etc., it's been hectic. So this will be a welcome diversion!

I have a meeting in Wash DC Wed eve and Thursday morning, so, the plan is to rent a car Thursday Noon for Friday (Weather permitting) then back to DC for the 2:00am Train back to CT.
After wimping out for Maple GFrove (and it didn't even rain), I'm psyched to see this new Bellagio Track!

BTW: Had no trouble (today) getting a room at Hampton Inn Salisbury - 25 minutes away.
