Charlotte 4 Wide final

Banaka was the winner even if he crossed the centerline, hit the wall, mooned the crowd, etc. He was the only one of the four who took the tree. My Buddy Dave W posted a video yesterday of a race between Dennis Taylor and Jay Payne years ago in Alcohol Funny Car where Payne left before the tree activated and Dennis hit the 1/8 mile blocks but because Dennis was the only one to take the tree, he was the only one "in the race". I don't even think its a matter of first or worst coming into play.

You must be talking about someone else. My BEST friend Dennis Taylor would never hit anything. 🤣😛🤪🥸🤔🫣.

Since when is a RED LIGHT not a RED LIGHT? I always thought if you went red you're DQ'd from the run.

3:01 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 85 degrees, relative humidity 45 percent, barometer 30.12 inches, adjusted altitude 2,764 feet, track temperature 130 degrees.
McCosh is a no-show.

Hough got out of the gate first and pulled away for the win.

Bellemeur red-lit but not as badly as Beverett so he takes the runnuer-up.

This is Hough's 13th career win in this class.
