Changing pro qualifying times for Friday in Reading?

Give me a break NHRA, with the forecast for alot of rain for the entire weekend they should have just postponed the entire event for 1 week!

That may be even riskier, who knows what next week's weather will be, another week later into October? At least the teams are there already, better to try and get the event done if possible this weekend.

I also understand that there is a large regional event in the Redding/ Maple Grove area next weekend and hotels have been sold out for months, so if they did postpone, where would they put everyone- teams and fans alike?

So, you wanted nhra to tell all the fans, sportsman, and pro teams that came from all over the country, and had already checked into their hotels, to just go away and come back another day when they showed up at the front gate without even trying to get it in? I think that would suck for the fans and sportsman racers, especially the ones that traveled a far distance.

Looks like the rain is going to stop late morning!! Hopefully we can get in two rounds of Pro and Sportsman tomorrow! Cool and breezy.. Maybe a tail wind if we are lucky! 200 MPH Bike run? Just trying to think positive at this point cause I'm headed home after tomorrows runs.

That's what we are seeing also. Sunday has dropped to around 10% so it is looking much better then first expected.
