nice goin' Jason !!! , I believe Jason is the 'Last of the Mohicans', in that he is the only driver who builds his own power in pro stock. Even tho Jason's teammate Anderson is now only 11 behind Warren Johnson, I think Jason is the best candidate to someday capture Warren. Most of the top younger drivers require a competitive car/engine builder, under them to win multiple races, but Jason kinda controls his own destiny as the top engine 'guy' in the NHRA and as long as he retains those skills, he will more than likely have a job!

One thing Some people don't understand is... Jason used to work for Joe Gibbs Racing in their engine dept.
Leaving there and going to run Pro Stock, do you think he would burn the bridge for technology info? Hell no !
NASCAR went with F.I. before NHRA required it for P/S. The K.B. team was the first to bitch publically about the change but behind the scenes don't you think that Jason was on the blower contacting his connections to make their engine program cutting edge over the other teams ? Yes.
When Doug Kalitta runs good or crazy down the track, You'll most always hear Dave Rieff mention that he was a USAC champion but when Jason crushes the field with a killer e.t. and/or m.p.h. you never hear him say "Jason, former engine builder/dyno specialist from Joe Gibbs Racing"
Think about it.
