I still like Leah Pruett. Next choice would be Chad.
I always think of these types of awards as silly in racing. It's so tough to separate money/crew from driver. Have to remember to not think of the ability of the car, but the ability of the driver who best represents drag racing. I think of red lights, and hole shots and control of the car in less than ideal situations as well as how well they interact with media and spectators, not how well the car/bike did performance-wise.
Leah scores points simply by not hyphenating her last name.

Usually when you hear the ESPN reporter say that the crew chief is going to try and run so and so time to beat the guy in the other lane, it almost always results in a tire smoker. I called it before it even happened.

There was a phrase someone told me a long time ago, "If you don't believe in what you're doing you won't be doing it well."
I don't think that drag racing is really where her heart is and it translates to her on-track performances....
I hope Brittany doesn't get it. Not that I don't like her, or Force - I do. But she's technically a rookie but kind of not, having had a lot of prior A/Fuel experience. Chad Head simply strapped on a nitro FC and said "let's go".....and considering his old man isn't known to be a Jimmy Prock caliber tuner, I'd say Head has done quite well.

Very valid point. It will be interesting to see how the vote goes. They reason I mentioned Adam is, he's in the top ten. Chad is very deserving as well though!

Chad was driving the nostalgia funny car prior to driving the big car. I think Brittany is the first Force daughter that doesn't deserve it. Ashley and Courtney both deserved the awards. This year's "class" is definitely thin, Adam probably deserves it the most just by making the countdown.

I think Britt has potential but, I agree, not deserving of the award.
I mean, you've got to go some rounds-- maybe win a pedal-fest or two (or the bike equivalent) to be a serious contender.
